Hello All,
I am in the process of claiming £860.00 from LTSB whom i no longer bank with and have sent the 3rd letter giving them 14 days before court action as per this website etc.
Doe's anybody have any advice to give me because as I am in Debt Management with a few companies including LTSB and will be debt free in 2008.
If LTSB do pay out any monies would it be paid to me or will it go elsewhere?
I am willing to take it to court to fight it.
Help and advice needed.
Thanks...... Lisa0 -
Have a look through this thread, there are many people on DMPs that have successfully claimed there charges back with no effect on their DMP.
Most companies will pay the amount claimed off your outstanding balance, although I have found if you ask them to send a cheque instead they do and the money can then be spread between all creditors. One day I will be debt free and fat free!:grinheart0 -
Hi,as my previous post,i'm only slightly concerned because our mortgage is with abbey as well,if we got the money back that would pay back the abbey account and have some left over.I just want someone to give some advice that abbey can't then get funny about the mortgage after claiming our bank charges back,please!0

Provided your mortgage account is in good order it should be okay as it is a different agreement from your current account.0

Hi,
I have just recently got my charges back from Nationwide thanks to this brilliant website so I am now ready to claim back charges from my account with Lloyds TSB!! My problem is this account was closed back in 2005 due to us doing an IVA. We had an overdraft on this account and we went over it and got endless charges. This account was then taken into our IVA. My question is can I still claim for my bank charges although the account is closed? Also as we are in an IVA can we still claim and if so would the money go straight to the IVA?
TIA,

As the above posts you can claim while in an IVA/DMP but it is likely any monies reclaimed will be put towards any debt or closed accounts but this will of course reduce the debt you owe.0
