Er,
You can count me in there, I have some very good reasons for taking exception to that sort of behaviour.0 -
I'm certainly making no secret of it. There are loads of other kids in the neighbourhood so I would be as bad as that **** if I said nothing. The saddest thing is seeing a kid's innocence go overnight, along with her ability to trust anyone other than me. She was aware of stranger danger but this coming from someone she knew and trusted has made every single person a danger to her. I hope time heals a bit, if not I will sort her out some counselling. Thanks for being there everyone, I have kept this to myself all week and the anger is eating me alive, I keep standing at the window just staring at their house. I did go over and confront him, he made all sorts of lame excuses, medication and alcohol, can't remember a thing, he is devestated so I am told... oh well, that's alright then! The OH had to drag me away because he was seriously scared I would end up in jail, poor thing is as angry as me but has his protecting his family head on. But, we are good and strong and won't let it destroy any of us. Thanks again for the hugs, they are much needed.:A

Close the curtains tuck littleun in and get yourself a glass of something pleasing and try and relax.
Although the circumstances she has been through are unthinkable, kids do have amazing powers of recovery. Just make sure you are ready to listen when she wants to talk and are there for hugs when she needs them. If you can get to a professional counsellor, a couple of sessions when she is ready may also help her come to terms with the whole thing. This is best done when she is ready and may be a while down the road. Above all tell her you know it`s not her fault if that conversation comes up - often feelings of guilt abound after this type of episode.
Time is a great healer but only if it is used wisely.

I cannot believe they pull threads on here left, right and centre, when important issues (such as wrongly informed posts) are involved, yet they allow posts about bum sex to stay.:starmod: I am not that savage :heartpuls But I am a Vixen :staradmin0

I didn't mean to offend anyone, I should keep my thoughts away from a public forum, apologies.:A
