I actually thought she was taking the p*ss, I hope she was. I just mean that over the past few weeks I have seen perfectly good threads pulled (ok some were a little antagonistic) But then drunken, funny conversations with some frankly unbelievable content stay. This doesn't mean I think it should be pulled, on the contrary, I just question the logic and reasoning behind whoever is responsible for moderating.:rolleyes:
I guess they find the possible offensive caused by questionning the validity of a poster is greater than anal sex or deep throating. Oh well fine by me.:D

My point was just how quick they are at removing some threads and they let others stay. Or is it down to cretins who report the threads?

SV -There is possibly a difference in tongue in cheek humor and an insult.. sometimes it may get extreame.. certainly after a few drinks, but it certainly doesnt offend the ethos of what we do here day in day out. However there are certain things said that are classed as insults and so they are the ones that need addressing.

Chill a little SV - What I do note is that you commented kind of in the middle of something quite delicate that a member may have taken personally. Read back a little.

Oh sh*t, sorry. Shall I delete it or will that be worse. I thought this was a lighthearted 'pub' sort of thread. I was observing that there seems to be very strange moderating for an open forum.
I appreciate that it may have been badly timed, but due to the nature of posting (not like Messenger where it is like having a conversation) posts can often end up out of sync or seemingly misplaced)

(Toto's posts were before 9pm and I posted at 11.15pm, so I don't think the 2 were particularly connected. I had been requesting that a thread be pulled, as I felt it offensive too many esp.newbies, and it is still there. So I had popped into the pub with an observation.)

In all honesty, whilst a delicate matter, I cannot see a link between my post and Toto's terrible situation. I will remove the post if you would like, but it really had nothing to do with Toto and I think that is now quite clear.
