Now nut allegies are a nightmare. I don't know how the parents cope, everything seems to have nut oil or be made in a factory where nuts are produced in them. The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter 0 0

Seriously though,I wonder where all these extreme allergies came from. It seems they just suddenly appeared within the last few years.1/11/06 -1/06/07 BSC #42

No, haven`t seen that but it backs up my theory that our houses are too clean ( Apparently - but not at TJ towers) so our kids never build resistance, so we end up with these so called superbugs.
Our house doesn`t exactly enter the super clean category and my DS`s are very rarely ill.1/11/06 -1/06/07 BSC #42

When i was pregnant Nov 05-Aug 06 the advice was only to avoid nuts if you have a history of allergies, asthma excema or nut allergies in your or partners family. As neither I or H have any allergies I did eat nuts, and did when breastfeeding too.
I make sure Lo gets plenty of exposure to germs though! ;-) He loves eating anything he finds on the floor...ive stopped worrying about it.tigerfeet2006 wrote: »Have you seen the new research that says pregnant and breast feeding mothers can now eat nuts in moderation because of all the nut allegies!!0
