a bit late to add, but my parents threw a party today, about 20 people. Most people bought a bottle of wine or some chocolates, but one couple turned up with.... an opened pack of Christmas cards.0

My mother purchased me a pack of several pieces of underwear with tacky, sexually suggestive phrases on them. I could only hope my mum didn't get it (not that unlikely, she has asked me at various points what 69, cottaging and cowgirl meant) but it still made me wince.

I got an ironing board off my outlaws one xmas - the kids were really excited when they saw it wrapped up, they shouted 'Mummy, Grandma's bought you a surfboard!'.
