Home made marmalade, jam, pickles, oil or vinegar in nicely decorated jars/bottles. Or what about coconut ice or truffles? Or even hand made biscuits. It's always nice to receive something that someone has made themselves. ;)

always wary on the food front, what if i poison someone!! mind you my mum made rice crispy cakes once with laxative chocolate, and left them in a room full of people who had been mean to her. she laughed for days as they all said yum and tucked in.

    did wonder!!! lol ;D
  • We are going away this xmas, the kids have all the old tat that they need and it is cheaper to go away. There are a few people I will be buying prezzies for and I think I bought them in Tescos clothes sale, got some lovely kids clothes, handbags etc. Its our first xmas that we are going away, the most impotant people we used to want to be with are no longer with us and we seem to aquire more relatives each year that I hardly know or want to!! So instead of the arguments about who's doing what I'm getting outta there!
I'm just looking for a late cheap deal!

good for you. after thinking on this, we are having a few days away between xmas and new year, to avoid all the family things we never want to go to, but wwe will be in our home for the days themselves.
