You would be wasting your money i tell you, you may as well just pop your money down the nearest drain

How can a belt that you wrap around your waist shift the flab? :D I've tried it, i binned it and now i cycle. The results are far better :D

Did you try it and stick with it? Everyone I know that's tried it, it has worked for them. You have to do the required sessions for the number of times per week, and the pads do need replacing.

Wiggynut - in answer to your question - "it also has a large sticker on the inside - that sits next to your skin. I'm not sure if I'm suppose to remove that or not?" ...its the sticky pads that sticks to your skin (thats why they need replacing after a while - because the stickiness goes). You have to get them positioned in the correct place, otherwise you turn it on and it really feels uncomfortable!! Takes a little practise to get it right, but once they are in the correct place its fine. Then you put the plastic sheet back over them when you have finished using them to protect the sticky pad till you use it next time.

You won't find the official slendertone belt for less than £60-£70. The Argos pads at
£24-99 are the replacement pads (2 sets). The machine itself is £70. There is a money-back guarantee if you buy from Slendertone, so if it doesn't work - presumably you get your money back!!!

The £29-99 link is for a different belt. Same sort of thing - just made by a different company - not sure if its as effective, but this is the one I think Wiggynut means...

    Yes i did

It's a fact it doesn't work, if you saw results it's probably the diet thats helped not the belt, they have been tried and tested. Nothing can shift that flab except excercise and healthy eating. The belt is just a gimmick to squeeze money out of people.

wow... long link! I got the beauty works one! This belt will not shift flab! only diet and cardio work will do that... this helps tone the muscle underneath!

Cuffie: it doesn't have those type of pads and there not sticky. it's just a white normal sticker you would have your name written on if you are at a cheesy 'holiday inn' business meeting! and has two mini penny size metal studs underneath and they have little foam pads over the top - I'm not sure if the sticker is just to protect those while in their box being shipped. well, I can feel my muscles jumping so it still works... keep meaning to see if they have a website where I can ask.
if this item had been more than £29 I wouldn't have bothered - the gym is more usefull but I was told my a back specialist these can help start you off in the right direction when trying to build core muscles back up... any way worth a go... I'll let you know if I see/feel any difference in a couple of weeks.

Would anyone suggest the best times to use it. I presume on an empty stomach in morning or best after a long walk? xx

    Hi
I've only used mine a couple of times as I started to do actual stomach crunches instead at the gym but I've done my back in!! slipped disk keeps playing up... hmmm... maybe I should just stick with the belt for my stomach for awhile. It feels weird if you don't position it just right.

Hi there, well up to day 9 now so obviously no results as yet. Yesterday used it twice, dont know if this is advisable but decided it wont do any harm. I agree it is tricky to position the gel pads onto the belt. I nearly took it back cos the middle pad wasnt working but the side ones were. OH got it sorted though by pushing it into position harder which did the job.I couldnt feel much until i turned it up to no. 30, so now i think ive gotta be careful otherwise ill be up to high before i get to expert level (hope this makes sense to you). My stomach feels flatter after ive used it but it actually isnt but it will be interesting to see what happens after the full 8 weeks.

It seems like the replacement pads are about £10, does anyone know roughly how long they last? Its quite expensive all told but Ill be a happy bunny if it tones like it promises to.!! xxx

After 8 weeks you may well have a set of defined abs but unfortunately no one will be able to see them clearly as the fat underneath the skin will get in the way. Tighter muscles should help to keep the tummy in but only if the tummy is not large in the first place. I'm afraid the only real way to lose the inches is by controlling the amount of food you eat and to exercise regularly. As has been mentioned most people who have seen good results have probably dieted at the same time.
