Slendertone belt

Hello there.

For quite some time now I have been really fed up with my wobbly stomach. My belly is the only thing stopping me get into my lovely size 12 jeans(well,I can get them on and fastened up but have in my opinion a horrible muffin top.)

I walk loads with the dog and eat (fairly) sensibly but the tum just stays, well last night while watching the Paul O Grady show he mentioned the slendertone belt and he loved it and that it really does work.

I have looked about and its not cheap so before rushing to the shop to get one I was wondering if any of you had any experience of it. It seems like you need to use it for 8 weeks every day which isnt a problem. Has anyone used it for recommended 8 weeks and if so did it make a difference?

Any suggestions would be welcome. thanks. xxx

I had one a few years ago and it was really good. As long as the pads are positioned correctly (they might have changed a bit since I got one). I used mine combined with other exercise and dieting and I could really tell the difference - particularly my waist (and the next day you could tell your muscles had a work out!). I must dig mine out again...I keep saying I ought to get it out, but it goes out of my mind...you have reminded me to do it!! I bought new sticky pads (these will need replacing - they used to be £10 for a new set of 3). I used to use it before bed time - just sitting up in bed reading a magazine.... I remember reading somewhere that the hips and bum shorts weren't so good, but I definitely noticed a difference in my midriff, waist and tummy with the waist "belt". Now where did I put mine..............

    Just had a quick browse...

Check out the Slendertone website - money back guarantee
    http://slendertone.com/en/female-toning-products/flexAbs/flexabs-female.php?DCSJumpGUID=FEWS3_DCS_Jump_a7b43478-0f66-4a83-9b29-b065afc65e3d&_$ja=tsid:717|ckid:FEWS3_DCS_Jump_a7b43478-0f66-4a83-9b29-b065afc65e3d

And, in a test on 24 people, 100% results. I know 24 people isn't a lot, but you will see a result. Good luck. The price is better now than what I paid when it first came out....go for it. Let us know how you get on. x

£29 from Argos. I'm thinking of getting one too. I've started a gym two months ago but my belly is very stubborn. had a back injury a few years back which made my stomach turn to jelly! ewww.
Just saw the date on this thread... I guess you've probably got one by now... so did it work?

I got one over the weekend. in store there is one for £29 but on the website there you have a choice of two for £29... I couldn't get the website to work with my card (I have a dodgy internet connection) so I went in store.
very strange to use! it also has a large sticker on the inside - that sits next to your skin. I'm not sure if I'm suppose to remove that or not?

I must dust mine down. I used it almost everyday for about 9 months and it really worked. I got into a real routine with it and for some reason I stopped, so thank you for inspiring me to get it out. Good luck.

The only thing stopping me now I have a wobbly 16/18 belly and wonder if it will still work over all that flab....(sorry if you are eating while reading that!):p

Janthemum: same size as you - I think if you have better toned muscles the flab doesn't droop as much! :D
I think the more things I do that require thinking about my body the more I will look after it... started the gym (havn't been all week but I do walk 8 miles a day!) but will be going tonight... for the last two months I've been going 3 times a week and I've lost just over a stone! :j
the only way I can tell is that a jacket now fits (boobs got in the way before!) and other tops now fit without stretching or feeling too tight - I don't do tight clothing even when I was a size 10 (starting to forget what that feels like)
at least I'm going in the right direction for once!
    good luck
