  • Thanks for your post, I really was not aware that I could do this myself. They charged me £149. This covered four PPI cases I had. Can I do my mortgage mis-selling case myself then?

Probably stand more chance than you will through the firm - or would you get staff rates?

Incidentally, some of the pages of your website do not work

£149 for prewritten letters that you can find on internet sites for free ???

    WOW

Top money saving tip.... do it yourself for free.

CMC's can't do a single thing for a fee that you can't do for yourself for free. :money:

I feel sorry for the longer standing IFA firm that has the same name who's brand and identity is being tarnished by this claims company. I notice they have had to put a warning up on their website.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.

Your comments are laughable :rotfl: Haven't you got anything better to do with your time being a mortgage broker?

Was helping on the forum anyway, so only takes me 30 seconds to type a post.

Do not need to spend time on google looking for all the negative comments on various forums and then respond as a "happy client"

I for one will not repond further on this thread, given it moves it up to the top each time a new post is applied.

Hopefully mortgage mis selling will kick off next year Noble and then you will not have to hunt for new clients under cover on forums

The same could be said for you as a CMC employee...

Haven't you got a list of people to call and annoy with wild claims of possible ppi claims ???? (even for those that didn't have ppi)

FYI...I did not hunt for negative comments, I was looking for TFS webpage and clicked on this site out of curiosity.

As previously mentioned I do not work for any PPI company or financial services....if I did I would be working, not spending my time on here posting treads to people.(even if it takes 30 seconds)

OK. so, you are unemployed. That makes using a claims company even less justifiable as its not as if you dont have time on your hands.

  • Can someone help us? I was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer despite having never smoked aged 49. My husband is now looking after me as I am undergoing gruelling chemo. This company Total Financial Solutions rang him to talk about PPI. We have never had insurance and told them that but they said we may have been miss sold out mortgage. As money is an issue due to my illness my husband thought if we had been miss sold any money would come in very handy. He them upfront on his credit card at total of £1700 being promised he would get it back it claim unsuccessful. It was unsuccessful and we have been trying to get our money back for over 8 months now. All this time paying interest on a credit card. They TFS said their bank account was 'frozen' and to claim charge back. Barclaycard are having none of it. We could really do with some advise as this is the last thing we need with everything else going on. We just don't know where to turn. Please can anyone help?
