Repeat the link I've linked to in the past.
This is a service that will send a letter for cheaper than the cost of a second class stamp.
(and is quite inexpensive for other types).

There are likely other comparable services, I have not investigated.

It comes to something when the able-bodied who can enjoy a full lifestyle start complaining about those that can rarely get out even to do simple things like popping to the local corner shop getting a small discount on a few stamps. If you have two arms and two legs and can enjoy life without pain and physical discomfort then I suggest that you get on with it and forget worrying about the pennies saved on stamps for those that can't.

Exactly, so the offer is only for those on certain benefits leaving the higher price for everyone else - which is in effect a two-tier price for the same product or service.

A very slippery slope which will come to grief. Divide and rule?

So I take it you re against franked mail and business only services?

That's totally different. That's a bulk discount - therefore different product.

By the time I've paid all my non-discounted bills and taxes and national insurance and NHS dental charges and full council tax I don't have a lot left for luxuries. All in this together - my a**e.

So its fine for those that can afford it to get a discount?
bear in mind you are griping about a difference of about £5 here

    Yes, it is.

I'm one of the lucky disabled people on this board that runs a business, and it wouldn't be worth my time if there weren't these sorts of discounts = lost revenues for both the tax man and Royal Mail IMO.
