New to Opera?

With IE/Chrome & Firefox being the top three browsers used by the majority of people and that Opera looks like coming in at number four, I was wondering if many of the MSE users use Opera and what they think of it.
I recently downloaded it and have found it to be as good as, if not an improvement in some ways. Mind you, I have experienced a few problems understanding how some things are achieved and my goodness, their Opera Forum leaves much to be desired (IMO). I shall persevere and try to resolve issues myself.
So, if you are a new convert to Opera, how do you find it? or if you downloaded it and left, why?.
One thing that I haven't been able to fathom out is this. When I close and leave the desktop screen showing with view to returning in say half an hour, I click on the Opera icon to resume surfing, and a box appears, tell me that Opera is still closing and I'm given the option to "Force Start" which I do. What's that all about?

Been an Opera user since paying for it over 15 years ago, although it's been freeware since Version 5.
Features I really like are mouse gestures, wand, context menu personal details and notes.604!0 -
Another thumbs-up from a more recent (couple of years) convert to Opera....hate using anything else now

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

I've always had Opera installed as a backup ever since it became free many years ago.0

Thanks guys, good to know that. There may be times when I throw you a question, such as that why does a "force start" box appear? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

so it's no big deal then, must ask, what's the 604 then. No doubt it has been asked many times and yes, I well remember your name, but I haven't spent much time on MSE of late. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I switched from Firefox to Opera a couple of years back, wouldn't consider moving to anything else. I like the layout, which the others all seem to be copying now and it is very fast.
The odd one or two sites that won't operate correctly with Opera I just select Firefox for those.
Haven't used IE for donkey's years - except when forced to by MS to get stuff of their website !0 -

Opera has been my main browser for many years for its speed, features and integration although I'm finding version 12 terrible and close to going elsewhere due to the problems with the separate wrapper process. It's intended to improve compatibility on 64-bit systems but I find it's made Opera unstable and can burn through an impressive amount of resources (hitting 4GB at its worst).
I've seen the same behaviour on different PCs and looking through the Opera forums it seems I'm not on my own with these issues, I'm really hoping they finally fix it on the next update.
