What are you basing your statement that the WB plastic water sections will leak on?
WB although owned by Bosch are also British and manufacture and supply the majority of their product solely in the UK.
As for over priced you get what you pay for and all German manufactured products are more expensive than others
Bosch - Siemens- VW - Mercedes etc
NowWhat
I support British industry and fundamentally I am a fan of WB products.
You act as a post for WB which I applaud.
I note you did not respond to the recent postings from me, nor explain the WB policy on rejecting boilers in accordance with legal rights. Hence, that is a second mse user who has been snubbed.
To show mse users I do not have a personal vendetta against WB I did not bump my posting. But now you have put your head above the parapet again, this is an opportunity for a polite request:
I ask you again to address the queries.
Please show mse users WB are not the arrogant, uncaring, indifferent, aggressive company that I have portrayed them as being.
Yes, ignoring my post is an indication that I am correct. Yes, snubbing another mse user is an indication that I am correct.
This is your opportunity...please provide some answers.0 -

To set the record straight I post solely my own opinions on WB products and am not paid or instructed to act on behalf of the company
If we sold a c**p product or had design issues I would voice my opinion in the same manner.
You say you do not have a vendetta against WB but it now appears that every time CH products are mentioned you use it to have a "pop" at WB.
You are obviously aggrieved at the service you received but it has no relevance to this thread or my question to Wooly05.
I simply stated the facts that German products are more expensive due to the reliability and build quality.
Do yourself a favour and drop your bitterness and support the questions requested by the other posters.
In answer to your questions
I am not in a position to state company policy on service activities as it is not in my area of responsibility.
You have had communique with the MD so why do you not contact him directly?
I am not ignoring your questions, I just did not want to fuel your bitterness any more.
You will get unhappy customers in all walks of life but I read a lot more praise for the WB product than negatives.
You have contributed to a lot of other posts on this forum and I think that the information you provide is invaluable - please don't sour that by continuing your negativity of WB.
Hello NowWhat?
I am not bitter and I respect the WB products. I have stated this.
I also respect your reply. Thank you for this.
My points were personal experience offered to assist fellow mse users when deciding on a manufacturer of a boiler.
If they do not assist, I apologise. If they are not relevant, I apologise.
A precis of my point was the product is good. My experience, in common with the views of my colleagues in the construction industry, is the back up/customer support/spare parts has scope for enormous improvement. Unfortunately for WB, this is the part consumers remember when a boiler gives problems. It is this that tarnishes WB reputation.0
