I think Kaelea is referring to the pictures, rather than the video. Con1888 has said it's a chain collar - see below.:)How can you even tell what type of collar the pup has on in that video? You must have bionic eyesight or something.
You could use a flat leather collar, or a webbing collar or even a harness. It's a chain but not a choke, I would not use one of them on any dog, ever.
What do you expect me to put round his neck though, cotton wool??
A chain does seem a little harsh on a puppy's neck, even if it's not a 'choke' chain.:)"No matter how little money and how few possesions you own, having a dog makes you rich." - Louis Sabin0 -
For those who don't think I am an animal abuser, here is another pic of my happy mutt

a friend made him a bandana in my teams colours so he doesn't feel left out on match nights
I'm sorry but that is definitely cruelty to animals, I am reporting you to the authorities!
Honestly, who puts a CELTIC bandana on a dog, obviously cruel, take it off immediately:rotfl:The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Being Scottish and all, supporting the best team in Scotland, well leaving my pooch out would be cruel
I may get him a Germany one too as I think he may like to support his homeland :rotfl: 0 -

He has a normal fabric collar for day to day use, ringcraft they use certain leads but on the one he has it has a leather front to it so that no chain digs in to the throat.
Similar to this but the leather is softer and the back not quite the same.

Good to hear that. Guess I (and maybe others) misunderstood. You said it was a 'chain collar' - I would call that one you pictured a leather half check - and you questioned whether you should use one made out of cotton wool, so just answered your question.
