Quick question - are they strict about who you name on the forms???

OH can only come on certain dates, so was intending on bringing my mother if we are offered a date he cannot make. Do they check when you get there??

Booking is being made in my name!

I'm sure I've read somewhere that only the people listed on the appl form, but as you have to book for min of 4 people anyway wouldn't do any harm to list your mother and if OH can't make it, simply explain when you arrive he couldn't come due to unforseen circumstances. Sure wouldn't be a problem x

Just read the conditions of the holiday I have booked for next month and the park themselves state the home may only be occupied by those named on the booking form, but sure they won't ask ID and if you incl your mother on there then no problem x

Can I just ask, if anyone knows? We have booked The Sun holidays before but didn't last time and they haven't sent us the priority booking form this time. Is it worth trying to find out our customer number from last year so that we can book online or would it be a different one? Not sure we've got any paperwork with it on now but will try to find it.

We gatecrashed our friends 'Sun' holiday a few weeks ago. Basically they checked in and just phoned us and told us where there caravan was.

We also 'acquired' passes - my friend went down to reception and told the lady she had lost the passes and she gave them free replacements. Though not that we were asked to show the passes at any time, not even to get into the pool.

Lots of the caravan parks also have privately owned caravans so you can buy extra passes easily. Assuming you don't take the p*ss (the caravans are meant to sleep 8 max) there won't be any problems with taking extra people.

    Hi,

Is there a list of what parks are available? Is blackpool one of them? Ive never booked one of these hols before but heard great things about them so thought we'd give it a go, We were planning on going to Blackpool for the illuminations switch on on the 31st Aug..noticed that that date is available so just wondered if there is a park close to Blackpool?

  • Site's up and running and you're able to book now. Just tried to book, but couldn't get any Haven site near me for July or August. Very limited as to what they've got available. Mostly 3 night breaks - not paying £60 plus the extra costs for 3 nights away when The Sun are advertising 4 nights as well, but they aren't available.

    Whoo hoooo!

Just got 4 nights at Pontins in Hemsby for the last week of school hols, kids love Pontins! I agree there is not a lot available though cos I had to try a lot of different park/date combinations to get that 1 result to come up on the search.
Good luck one and all x:j
