The little dog has now gone home. Her lady owner is presently bebound and quite ill, but had been ringing farms in an ever increasing distance trying to find her, until luckily she spoke to a farmer (about 10 miles away) that I had rung, near to where the accident happened. Feel a lot happier now that I know her owner was very upset and looking for her. She was in very good condition, and although a working farm dog, lives in the house. Just hope she didnt get pregnant while wandering.DONT BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE. GET YOUR ANIMALS NEUTERED TO SAVE LIVES.0

That's good that her owner has been traced although its a bit worrying that her owner is bedbound and ill, makes you wonder how she is going to look after her because I assume she'll need special care for a while until her injuries heal.
I presume you and/or Sarah will keep in touch for a while to make sure she is ok?
Glad that she is back home safe anyway after her ordeal.0 -
Thanks Dollardog. Don't worry, the lady has a husband, and the dog, once fit, will return to being a working sheepdog who spends most of her day in the house. I'm pretty sure that the dog is spending most of her time in the lady's bedroom keeping her company at the moment. The little dog is already pretty mobile, to be honest it was shock that nearly killed her, not her injuries.DONT BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE. GET YOUR ANIMALS NEUTERED TO SAVE LIVES.0
