I thought that when i was newly married that i would make crispy noodles, so i boiled some spaghetti, and put a huge pan of oil on to heat up, when it was hot i tipped in the spaghetti, hoping for golden crispy noodles...the spaghetti instantly sucked up all the oil and i had to stagger with a pan that weighted about two tons, to empty it into the bin.!!0

I was fell nearly 30ft down a sand dune on a school trip in 6th form...somehow i came out unscathed but i scared the crap out of my teachers

Grilled a burger and thought 'yum, I'll pop another one in'. Didn't think to empty the fat from the grill tray. Then made a phone call and realised as I was happily chatting that the cooker was on fire (including the rubber seal around the oven). Pulled the grill out and put it on the sink. And turned the tap on. Very lucky I wasn't hurt! Finally used some common sense and ran off to wet some tea towels, all fine in the end.
Still need to replace the oven as the landlord wasn't too impressed...0
