How much money do you spend on travelling to work?

I run one day, cycle the next, fair weather and foul, it's only two and a half miles each way. I guess I spend about £100 per year on the bike, and about £100 per year on running kit, so £4 per week.Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler.0

£80-90 per week petrol + other car running costs0

At the moment £12 a week (weekly bus pass) although I could get the train for £9 buying individual tickets but once I factor in social journeys inaccessible by train the bus is a better deal"It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice." :T0

I pay £13 a week for a weekly pass for the buses and trams, which is about a tenth of my weekly salary.0

£132 a month West Yorkshire metrocard, rising to £141 in January. Although this covers all bus and train travel. It's about ~11% of my salary. But driving and parking in Leeds would be no cheaper according to my cigarette-packet calculations.0

It's just short of £35 per week for a Zones 1-3 travelcard and day-by-day my tube fare is £3.10 there & back.
But I'm a temp and don't work every day, and sometimes a Monday-only job will extend into all week, and sometimes I'm not expecting to work but will get a booking first thing in the morning. So sometimes it works out it would have been cheaper to get a week's card (if I'm going out evenings or weekends as well) but I've paid for a day as I wasn't expecting to be using it.Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.0 -
Before I left my ex, I was paying over 380GBP a month to get to work. This was over 35% of my takehome pay.0

£48 a month for a bus pass - which I can also use at evenings and weekends.
Our office recently relocated into town. I used to drive to the old office, as we had free parking, but there is no parking at the new place. Because of the enforced move, work are covering the difference in costs for travelling to the new place, so they give me £19 a month which goes towards the bus pass.
Journey time has doubled (tripled on really bad days) but I'm getting through a lot more audio books, so it's not all bad

None, I'm classed as 'field based' which means I get mileage from my home to the multiple sites I cover. I work from home some days too, so only have to walk from the bedroom to the spare bedroom where my desk is.0

£6608 annual standard season ticket. Not purchased by a season ticket loan either as I work for myself0
