  • Plenty of the Discovery printer paper at Cleethorpes.
Sel £2.50 but scanned at 60p.
No sign of any cheese though , think the best time for this is tonight when they are filling the shelves.
  • oops, nearly forgot, another big thank you to Chandlerscroft for the heads up on the cheese being priced at £1 in Helst*n. As you said, no stock but a couple of rain check vouchers were issued with no problems at all. :D:D

    I will have cheese!! :j:j:j

Thats the good thing with DS hes in halls for 3 years:T:Tso no bills, just the normal accomodation fees at the start of term. He's a maths student though, so all his spending is on a spreadsheet(Although not too sure he's looked at it yet;):rotfl:)

I am sure he will be checking his finances,my D/D doesn't need to,she won't spend a penny (economics and finance)she's well suited to the course, but she keeps a close eye on me ,proper mse her, everything we have is woopsied and she checks all my receipts and spending.
Needless to say she has no debt, just wish she would have a splurge sometime ,I think me being a lone parent has made her aware of how watching the pennies has paid off.

I would like to say my opinion in that I think everyone has to do what they feel comfortable doing regarding coupons , apg's , cc vouchers etc

The Heinz coupon states 1 per household, the chokablok states 1 per transaction, but most of us on here would have stocked up on soup and
used at least 2 chokablok coupons per shop to get the multibuy.
Also printing off 2 coupons when it says only 1 and then wombling is another one.

These small things most of us are comfortable with but it's still as wrong as reusing apg's, cc vouchers etc just on a much smaller scale. :)

my dd4 loves cutting coupons out with me and giving them to the SA shes always telling daddy and nanna how much we saved :rotfl::rotfl: shes has her own purse with a few vouchers and i let her look for them in supermarket (with me) its like a game shes loves it and stops her asking for anything as she so busy looking for her coupons lol:rotfl::rotfl: dd2 just rips them up along with shopping list if she gets to them she more of a grab something and open it before mum catches me to eat kinda girl or smash dolmio sauces:eek: (only once )
  • Sorry still playing catch up.
Love the idea of the tefal one cup. I struggle with kettle when hands are bad and would be perfect for me. Think I will put on my xmas list.

I don't know your mothers age or general health but in many areas people either on dla or in general need can buy taxi vouchers from local council at a reduced rate. I have not used this scheme in quite a while but I used to get a £6 voucher for £1. I am sure it is something a physio could help you with referal for. I found this out when in hospital in London as it was/is a very popular scheme there as tube travel quite impossible with a disability. A long shot but might make travel for you mum a bit easier when she is home.

I think the one you want is Bonny Street car park at the side of the police station and courts!:eek:

If that isn't the one, take your pick from these which are all central Blackpool.
