  • Sorry still playing catch up.
Love the idea of the tefal one cup. I struggle with kettle when hands are bad and would be perfect for me. Think I will put on my xmas list.

My mum has one, and loves it for coffee, but i only drink tea, and it makes the tea taste awful. So she has a kettle for when i visit. :)

Come out of lurkdom to say this reuse of CC vouchers in Morrison's thing feels so wrong to me as well (ignoring the troll comments for one moment):(:( I don't condone reuse of APG or PP's either and I know it's bringing on the whole ethical debate again but it seems as if there is a bit of a "herd" culture with people afraid to speak out their opinion.

I'm not looking for an argument either but this is an open forum and everyone does have a right to post their opinion. If people who are knowingly reusing vouchers can rest easy then fair enough but I have to say I am greatly disappointed by what this thread now represents.

Take care for now all xx

I'm not getting into any rights/wrongs discussions but I don't think that this latest loophole/glitch/call it what you will is in quite the same league as re-using APG's or PP's. Those vouchers do clearly state 'single use only' and it is very dubious practice to try to re-use them. The stores have budgeted for single use and using them more than once is taking them for a ride.
I don't think it is hypocritical to use previously converted CC vouchers in Morrisons though - the vouchers are of absolutely no value whatsoever to Morries regardless of whether they have already been redeemed or not, they are just useless scraps of paper. Morries are accepting them purely as a slightly devious way of grabbing T's customers and bribing them to go into Morries stores. Most people who do this will go to Morries because either Morries are closer to their home than T's or because Morries have better special offers that they like the look of - and it will just be easier/more convenient etc for them to get to Morries. They will spend their CC vouchers, almost certainly spend a fair bit more cash on top of the vouchers and go away very happy with their cheaper shopping. Morries will also be happy cos they have managed to lure some of T's customers into their store and got them to spend cash. They will have budgeted for the initialCC loss. Its highly likely that a good proportion of these shoppers will choose to remain with Morries - they are only taking the vouchers at their new, vamped up stores and, after my visit today, I've got to say that my Morries beats T's hands down for choice, offers and presentation !

I know its all a matter of degree / personal comfort zone but Morries are actually ASKING us to take in our CC vouchers and they don't seem to have restricted their very generous off to 'virgin' vouchers only ! Not like when so many of us were flogging the APG/MSM glitch to death knowing full well it was an error which somebody was going to have to pay for (and there was talk of Asda taking legal action against MSM)

Its not likely to last long though as inevitably a few people will hammer it to death - there is already mention on PTS of the offer being withdrawn this afternoon.

Please lets not let it all kick off again with !!!!!ing and unpleasantness.

So annoying! I've been using them fine in my store in C*rd*ff for a few weeks and visiting my mum in B*urnem**th today they said a memo was sent to all stores today not to accept these coupons.

Do we reckon its a legit memo or my store making up their own rules?

Ahh I forgot about N'Abbey. I went there the night the Beanz vouchers had been issued and was told no by the SA and the supervisor. I doubt anyone had had a chance to try there yet but I was told unconditionally nope.

Will try and negotiate Y'gate this evening. Gotta stop at the food bank and offload these Beanz and Nutri-Grain biscuits. I doubt they'll take Reloaded so any suggestions as to what I can do with them? I prefer the orange one but Ts don't sell it.

If anyone is looking for the discovery paper, my mum's just off the phone saying knocknaG has lots, I told her to get me 5 - I think that'll do me a while :D

oops, nearly forgot, another big thank you to Chandlerscroft for the heads up on the cheese being priced at £1 in Helst*n. As you said, no stock but a couple of rain check vouchers were issued with no problems at all. :D:D

    I will have cheese!! :j:j:j

What a result, I'm sure the twin packs will return tomorrow when they go back to full price.

Was that a couple of vouchers each ?

As you say nice to meet.

See you next year when we are back :D
