Edited to add - Good morning all
Thanks for the receipe, I am just getting into baking muffins/cookies etc.
Can I ask what a cup is? Is it the equivalent of 100g or 200g etc
I see loads of recipes I like but they often have cups as measurements.
TIA
here is a good conversion chart - http://www.jsward.com/cooking/conversion.shtml
the cups thing is what I grew up with in America. Everything is measured in volume, not weight - and I can't seem to change

And as well as everything else the credit card bill arrived which I knew was coming but I'd tried not to think about.
So September was quite a good month, glitches in full throng so very little spent in supermarkets, I got the cats worming and flea treatments for the year, we eat out a couple of times, only spend £30 when we were away for a few days and there is also a dentist bill, only big item was the coal bill £136 on there but otherwise a very low spend month - expect for the garage bills.
Both cars needed major fixing, MOTS, service etc total £836 :eek:Ive spent less on a holiday! So thats about 60% of the credit card bill.
I keep very detailed excel charts and graphs of the household finances, very anal I know but we struggled for so many years when the kids were little, I have to know exactly where we are at all times, stops the middle of the night panics.
So now despite months of very careful spending, some very serious couponing and gitching, first time ever we have savings accounts etc.On paper we are at the same stage we were at 5 months ago and not much better off than a year ago.
Think I am getting myself into a right downward spiral this morning, time to rearrange the stashes and count the blessings and its payday again before long - at least all of the bills are in now and the line on the graph can only go in an upwards direction now :T
Very much a graceful swan on the surface but frantic paddling going on underneath“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Currently got a Mary Berry cake in the oven from last xmas glitches. Date on it was Feb 12 but all the stuff looked ok so thought id give it a whirl. ANyone else still got any?
I've got one but I never bake anything. I only bought it because I thought Tosco had made an error with the pricing and reckoned it should be easy to just throw it together and stick it in the oven. I'll find out how easy in a week or two :rotfl: The date on mine was Feb 12 as well.
For anyone buying from the Superdrug 3 for 2 glitch, the extra 15% off has finished but there are still plenty of glitching items and free delivery ends tomorrow. Many a mickle makes a muckle.0 -
