I used to love baking with my mum, but this was one I couldn't do.
But every year it puts a smile on my face, she would have laughed.
Ah, that's a touching story about your mum. :A

It was always tradition to keep the top tier of your wedding cake for the first born christening cake, which in theory should be at least 9 months
My top tier would have been waiting 5 years!
I really am going nowG'night all xx

One of my ohs drivers had a massive heart attack, he drove into the station safely, got a green signal but didn't move his train. They found him in his cab, paramedics worked on him but could not revive him. He was getting an extra sunday in before they were off on holiday for a fortnight today.
My oh a bit shaken up as you can imagine, only 4 years older than him and they'd been discussing pensions etc and taking early retirement a couple of weeks ago ...Day for bad news - one of the mums in my daughters class at primary school died of cancer at the weekend - leaving two girls aged 8 and 4. How terrible
I the find out tonight that a close friend of mine who has fought breast cancer not once but twice has been recalled after her latest mammogram. Trying to be positive but surely this is gotta be bad news isn't it- Celebrate/Karlie? Any views.
She has three sons.
Just hugged my daughter and son and told them I love them.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Brought a tear to my eye....miss my mum so much( and she was elderly when she passed away) and that is why it pains me to hear of those little girls who lost their mum to cancer. Memories like yours are precious.never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -
