Day for bad news - one of the mums in my daughters class at primary school died of cancer at the weekend - leaving two girls aged 8 and 4. How terrible
I the find out tonight that a close friend of mine who has fought breast cancer not once but twice has been recalled after her latest mammogram. Trying to be positive but surely this is gotta be bad news isn't it- Celebrate/Karlie? Any views.
She has three sons.
Just hugged my daughter and son and told them I love them.
DODO, thats terrible, it really does make you feel glad for today and puts things into perspective. Hope you are ok xIf it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -

Poor little girls - why do some people have to suffer so much? Seems so unfair.never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -

They will not let you use a £5 off 40 in our store, tried this before with the suitcases, when I handed the coupons after giving the £5 off over they cancelled the whole lot and started again. Signs up everywhere in store. Not tried anywhere else though. If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -
zagubov, thank you, I will mention that to him, he has joined a Steert Dance club but is the only male. Unfortunately uni girls not interested in going out with someone looking 13/14. I'm sure he will come out of his shell soon as when he was in Air Cadets he used to go to all sorts of places and got his solo gliding certificate at 18. He also went to work at the Para Olympics and each time he was worried about going because he didn't know anyone but came back having had a great time.
CQ123, he is in a 6 bedded uni res, gets on with his flatmates but they are all heavily into drink & drugs something my son is not (thank goodness). They have no respect for other peoples things ie take what food they like from the fridge & cupboards, burn his pans etc. They have had so many fines for noise, filth and covering the smoke alarm with a bag, that they are talking about moving out, oh I hope so.
JJJ, don't worry I coined the term LUMP as there were a few of us in the nursing home that were vertically challenged so we became the LUMP society.:rotfl:0 -

The £5 off £40 not valid yet but there are other T conditional spends around
I think you'll find its SA dependent whether they'll let you get away with a cheeky scan at the pre-discount token price
Pick a weekend youngster, hand over the conditional spend first and keep fingers crossed0 -

yes i cannot see why not, i have previously used a £3 wys £20 when i bought a chopping board from the knives promotion that was on last time with no problems. It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.0 -
