Getting really annoyed with my slow brain now, what I wanted to know is about the extra points with gift cards if anyone has any information on which ones they generally do that would be great, I'm after £50 game and probably £50 early learning centre but don't want to waste a trip if it's not a good deal...or with my luck, the deal has expired!

Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

    Hi
If anyone still has any of the Kleenex Shine Absorbing Sheet vouchers from Mr T's I am pleased to confirm that there is still a DTD to be had (thanks OP) as the voucher is still only taking off £1.50 at the till. (The wipes are now priced and scanning at 2.99)

    Maths as follows:
    Pay for Sheets £2.99
    Less £1.50 (from voucher)
Less £3.00 (DTD - after arguing for this)
Less £1.50 PP (they are still £1.50 in Mr A's)
    Total paid out = £2.99
    Total returned = £6.00
= free sheets and £3.00 off shopping.
Why did I not pick up more of these? I only had 4 left.

    HTH

I'm not fond of soup, what I really want for my dinner is a mug of bovril, not had bovril for years but I really have a fancy for it now

I sell Bovril at my kiosk and it is suprisingly popular.:)

When people ask "what hot drinks do you do?" and I say, " tea, coffee, hot chocolate and bovril," frequently the reply is "oohh, I haven't had a bovril for years!"

I did once have a customer who wanted milk in it!!:eek:
