In addition to the seeds I planted last Saturday, I also have seedlings for 7/8 varieties of basil and the sorrel I sowed on Sunday :j
Hi MWC, you are having success with your sowings :T Are they in the greenhouse or are you using heated propagators?

Hi US, my seeds are in an unheated but south-facing conservatoryToday the runner beans and the final pot of basil have sprouted :T
Another 2 plants IN today - ivy to go in a patio pot and chaenomeles fire dance (quince) to grow up a fence - £3 in total from the garden centre at Morrisons. Please ignore what I said in Tilly's diary about shrubs being a waste of space :rotfl:This one has beautiful red flowers at a time when my herbaceous border is a little bare and will look stunning up against the black fence
£1 for 6 eggs is a good price - luckily for me my colleagues have more money than sense!!!Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

I paid £40 to be tortured this afternoon - my neck/shoulder/back deep tissue massage involved lots of yelping, face-pulling and muscle-popping, and now I just ache
I didn't do any of the spring cleaning I wanted to (mainly due to laziness!) - must try harder tomorrow

I was a little more productive today:
- scrubbed bathroom
- mowed lawn
- home facial
- accompanied Mr MWC to John Lewis
- add Mr MWC's purchases to CP - I will be able to claim a £10 voucher tomorrow
- went grocery shopping and spent £101  (included £39 on 6 bottles of wine and £16 on 1/2 price Brita filters but I need to keep tighter control of spending in May)
7 eggs today

Brita filters are sooooo expensive aren't they. But the wine... that's more of an investment buy :rotfl:
