I dragged Mr MWC to Lidl, Home Bargains AND Sainsburys this morning - he may be traumatised for some time :rotfl:

It's a dad-free Sunday and we have a doing-day planned:
- lots of laundry
- decluttering/tidying/putting things away
- cleaning
- getting ready for the week ahead
3 meals this week will come from the bowls! book:
- Budapest bowl: mushroom barley pilaf + paprika-braised chicken + dilled white beans + sweet pepper slaw + sour cream + dill
- Addis Ababa Lane bowl: kasha-style buckwheat + brown onion split peas + turmeric vegetables + shredded romaine salad + farmer/cottage cheese
- Tuna on Toasted Quinoa bowl: toasted quinoa pilaf + tuna + steamed beets with their greens + cannellini beans + hard-boiled egg + mustard vinaigrette + olives + radishes

Difficult to reach light bulb replaced and, on the off-chance, I wiggled 3 bulbs in another light fitting before replacing them and they still work :T

Mr MWC arrived safely in Sweden where it's currently -10C feels like -19C :eek:
I had to fill up with petrol this morning so I popped into Sainsbury's for 4 pints of milk, a loaf of bread and some F&V. I left the milk in my car all day and it was partially frozen by the time I got home :eek:

Mr MWC is stuck in Sweden as his flight home tomorrow evening has been cancelled
He's rebooked on a flight the next day but the weather forecast looks worse on Friday...
