Making chicken feed of my mortgage

Thanks everyone - I'm feeling much better this evening
I've spent the day laying on the bed/sitting in the armchair and watching the trees at the bottom of the garden being chopped down4/5 trees were on my neighbour's land and he did ask our permission before taking the chainsaw to the fifth tree; nonetheless, we're now feeling very exposed and lacking in privacy
Fingers-crossed they grow back bigger and better (and quickly).Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Won't the girls be exposed to the sun  - worrying about you and Mr MWC chasing them round trying to tie sun bonnets on them :rotfl:
Glad you're feeling better xA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I'd planned to make marmalade this weekend but I've left it too late to buy seville oranges
:(:(
So instead I'll be pottering around the house and garden in short bursts (I really must finish putting Christmas away...)

Such utter relief to know I'm not the only one that still has Christmas kicking about... :rotfl:a penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library0

I didn't even try to find the energy to make my own marmalade ... but I *love* thick cut. When I'm retired, I'll be able to find the time to make my own!

We went to a friend's for dinner yesterday. She lives on a boat  moored in a marina but it was still a bit choppy

Bonsoir from Lyon
It's raining so I didn't go for a walk this evening and there won't be enough time in the morning for me to purchase stinky cheese!
Just waiting for Mr MWC to phone me (he's on the phone to his sister at the moment and she does like to talk...) before I have another early night
ETA - spoke with Mr MWC:
