Glad you've got the all clear MWC, great way to end the year!!

Your mortgage looks fab :j:j please tell me you overpaid just enough so you got all the 6's and it wasn't just coincidental?? :D

Oh and Happy New Year xx
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

  • I OP'd just enough! I'm a big eejit though... I forgot to transfer money to my regular saver before cleaning out the current accounts

  • But not so frugal as January 2015:
I counted the loose change pots today - £68.72 :) So that's our grocery budget set for Frugal January: £120 of nectar points, £7 clubcard vouchers, £19 of love2shop vouchers (from RM surveys) and £68.72 cash :T

    2016:
    Loose change pots = £88.64
    Nectar points = £95
    Match & More vouchers = £25
    Waitrose vouchers = £35 (+ £6 off/£30 spend coupon)
    Love2shop vouchers = £42
    (M&S giftcard = £20)

And as always, plenty of ingredients in the fridge/freezer/larder that need using :)

Fabulous news on the all clear :j And the overpayment. Great stuff.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
