I'm starting to regret buying goat's cheese for Christmas at a farmer's market today... it's a bit stinky!
Mr MWC's last day tomorrow. He's tided up his home office and has a pile of stuff to return at his exit interview (and a bigger pile of stuff to recycle/bin)Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Thirded ...
Sounds good that Mr MWC has a load of stuff that'll be going out of the house, and he can chip in with some of the emergency Christmas preparations, maybe?
It *sounds* like you know what you're prioritising ... hope it all comes good, look after you xxx2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Thanks KC..., and he can chip in with some of the emergency Christmas preparations, maybe?
If only! He has his leaving do in London tomorrow (and it's an overnighter) so this weekend is a right off, starts his new job on Monday and is in London every day next week rather than at home and just to top it off, he's going to see Madness the weekend before Christmas...Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Eggs IN 6 (3 yesterday, 3 today)
Eggs OUT 2 (fried for lunch)
Quick trip to M&S this morning and I now have a party frock
I did Steps 1 & 2 of the candied orange peel yesterday evening, Step 3 this evening. Step 4 (dipping in melted chocolate) will need to wait until the weekend before Christmas.
I'm home alone now until tomorrow afternoon. I've set my timer and I'm going to tackle the list 15 minutes at a timeMortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Mr MWC, aka Mr Popular, got home safe and sound (and a bit the worse for wear!) at about 1-ish. He had a big bag of leaving gifts from his lovely (and very generous) former colleagues.
After a cup of tea and some painkillers, he hoovered downstairs for me :kisses3:
I was in charge of dinner today - perfect beef stew (with a couple of tweaks - 2 sliced onions replaced with 500g baby onions, turnips replaced with more carrots) with cheesy dumplings, mashed potatoes and roasted sprouts - and it was delicious, if I do say so myself...
One last load of laundry to do...
Oh and I need to make the bed...
Oh and write a few more Christmas cards...Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
