    A quick update:

    - holiday was fab :D
    - slept at least 10 hours/day (paying for it now though... a total of 6 hours over past 2 days :()
    - drove through Buffalo before the lake effect snow dump (phew!)
    - spent too much money...
    - ate too much (but only gained 1 pound :T)
    - discovered a new cocktail (Canadian whiskey, cranberries cooked with cinnamon + star anise, cloudy apple juice & ginger ale) :beer:
    - rubbish homecoming yesterday (I took a poorly chook to the vet and came home without her :()
    - currently making Christmas chutney (I am so not ready for Christmas :eek:)
    - away on a business trip tomorrow and Friday (I haven't packed yet...)

    Sorry to hear about the chook, MWC :( thats always hard.

    Business trip sounds a bit near to your holiday return - but everything else sounds fab, especially the cocktail. I have some cranberries in ready for Christmas :)
