Making chicken feed of my mortgage

I don't want to see another pear... until this time next year :rotfl:
101 (yes, I was counting!) pears quartered, peeled and cored
The pickling syrup tastes lush (white wine vinegar, sugar, orange (zest and juice), cinnamon sticks, peppercorns, allspice berries, cloves and root ginger). I didn't poach the pears as they were perfectly ripe so I hope it turns out OK *fingers crossed*
Second batch of spicy pear pickle still cooking...Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

OK so I'm not SuperTilly and maybe my list was a little ambitious...muddywhitechicken wrote: »So much to do and so little energy... hopefully I'll have a bit more get up and go after a second cup of tea!

- 5 loads of laundry - done - 6!
- walk into town/shopping - done
- general tidy up in the garden - not done
- paint the front garden fence - not done
- a ramble - not done
- housework - not done
- power wash the chicken coop - not done but I have cleaned them out

I didn't go to Sainsbugs in the end and am sticking to my meal plan. Will be interested to read how your burgers turn out - I have a tofu stir fry on my plan and was disappointed when I found the tofu was in stock. Yup, can't wait for that one :rotfl:. I'll check the recipe and see if it gets marinaded - if not I'll invent one as it will need something to perk it up _pale_.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Morning, that is a lovely to start to the day - five figures:j:j:j
I don't know where you get your energy from, and I'm feeling quite envious of your chutneys. I am going to see if I can find my chutney mojo by the weekend. As DH will be decorating the other room, I could be in the kitchen creating goodies. I may have to ask for tried and tested recipes
