Another one impressed by the step count.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

15,000 steps today at slow plod pace - it was hard work today!

First installment of the Norwegian trip for Greying:

Day 1 - arrived in Oslo, spent the afternoon exploring the city and visiting the beautiful botanical garden

Day 2 - visited the viking ship and Kon-Tiki museums

Day 3 - visited the national gallery to see Edvard Munch's The Scream before getting on the train for the 7-hour trip to Bergen

A couple of photos from the train window:

Don't worry Natty - as Mr MWC told me this evening - walking is not proper exercise!

    oooooooo - Adventurising pics :j:j

Would you believe, I was talking to someone today, who had just come back off hols in........... Norway! They'd been cruising on the Fjords though. But they had a smashing time too, despite having to buy a ski hat in June 'coz the weather was a little pants.....

Gosh, aren't the houses/buildings such interesting colours.....

Was the Viking ship museum of Day 2 the one that was on that docu with Andrew Graham-Dixon?

Ta for sharing MWC - mucho appreciated :D

Also, does anyone else get the feeling that if you *trip-trap, trip-trap, trip-trapped* over that rickety, rackety bridge to the red house, a troll would appear out of nowhere and gobble you up? :rotfl: Or have I been reading too many fairy tales? :rotfl:

Have a great day MWC :D

OMG, I didn't realise you'd gone to Norway, I love Norway! We've been there a couple of times on cruises.

When we were in Oslo we did the Viking ship and Kon-Tiki museums.

Looking forward to seeing the Bergen photos. I expect you went on the funicular up Mount Floyen. I loved doing that!
