  • The leek risotto with chestnuts was AMAZING :D

I'm now decluttering the remaining prosecco and thinking about making another batch of lemon curd :)

  • Evening MWC, we're all diary hopping at the moment :)

I quite fancy lemon curd and you definitely can't beat home made. Will make some of that in the morning as I bought too many lemons on Saturday and that's a lovely way of using them up.

Is the leek risotto with chestnuts HFW? I'll have to grab the book and check.

  • Mr M sells savers lemon curd @ 22p/jar - surely there can't be any real lemons or eggs in it at that price???

  • Good morning

I'm glad we're not going to the IOW today - I'd probably be seasick _pale_

A fairly short list of things to do today:

    - grocery shopping (last few bits & pieces and I want to use at £10 off a £50 spend coupon)
    - laundry
    - make final batch of lemon curd
    - 1-2 hours of work if I can be bothered!

Just remember to go through the rent a drey scheme so it's all legal and tax free :rotfl:
  • I'm glad to be back from the supermarket - it's blowing a hoolie out there now

I had no problem spending enough to use the £10 coupon! This week's "free" items (using the coupon and a brand match till spit) were another 18 toilet rolls, a bottle of Finest balsamic vinegar and a butternut squash :T
