            Flight was on sale and booked via TCB, hotel and transfers are free as accompanying Mr MWC on his business trip and I had a fistful of dollars anyway
 Nice! What sort of business is Mr MWC in, if you can say without being specific?
 Have a wonderful time.0

            I'm back :wave:
 NYC was really :cool: and not too expensive.
 We ate at Momofuku on Friday *drools* and Momofuku's Milk Bar on Friday (peanut butter & ritz cracker ice-cream and pineapple upside down truffles), Saturday (green apple & cheddar ice-cream and compost cookies) and Sunday (crack pie)! We already have the momofuku cookbook but I really want the milk bar cookbook now. It is 30% off on Amazon but with my :money:head on, I have resisted and put it on my Christmas list instead. If only I could have resisted some of that food...!

            Good morning
 I forgot to mention previously that there was a little :money:action in NYC... the maid replenished the aveda toiletries every day so I have enough to last me for a couple of weeks

 Today I have:
 Received my monthly CC statement. It's significantly lower than normal but still doesn't stand up to close scrutiny
 Supermarket/groceries = £335.45 :eek: (+ I spent an additional £81.94 on my debit card...)
 Petrol = £91.16
 Toiletries = £67.52 (in addition to what is included in the supermarket shop)
 Amazon = £25.52 (DVD boxsets that I can't get on LoveFilm or Netflix - will try to sell on when we've finished watching them)
 Plants = £26.42 (I don't have room in the garden for these...)
 Miscellaneous = £233.10 (treats for The Girls, vet bill for FIL's dog, coffee, magazines, train tickets, a half price coat and a pair of trouser that don't fit but I haven't got round to returning yet...)
 Looking on the brightside, my loyalty points have been redeemed and I will be receiving a £25 JL gift voucher in the post soon.
 Mr MWC is away on business again (back Friday) - this city is not as :cool: as NYC so I decided to stay here! I hate cooking just for myself so I took inspiration from this forum and had eggy bread + maple syrup for my dinner
