Worth being woken up for :T:T:TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Mr MWC excelled himself in the kitchen tonight - pork chops and a warm borlotti bean, swiss chard and sage salad with a mustard dressing

My afternoon off whizzed by in a flash
I took my car to the hand car wash and then walked into town.
I've finally made an appointment to get my eye's tested - tomorrow morning at 09:20. My employer will reimburse me for the cost of the test and up to £120 for glasses.
I've also bought the ingredients for another batch of spicy pear pickle so I'll be making that at some point over the weekend.Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

I need reading glasses

No surprise there as I need to zoom in on my laptop in order to read my MFW diary...!
Total cost for eye test + 1 pair glasses + 1 pair free glasses = £214 but I should be able to claim back £145 from work
We spent a lovely afternoon visiting my friend on her houseboat. We don't have a lot of "stuff" but I don't think we could do tiny living
My diary has gone full circle and is now repeating itself... tomorrow we are going on a guided fungal foray

The fungal foray was very good - a beautiful sunny morning and lots of mushrooms :T
Orecchiette with gorgonzola, wild mushrooms & radicchio for dinner - if I don't post tomorrow evening, we misidentified something...
More spicy pickle cooking this evening and tomorrow evening - the house was still smelly from the first batch!
I'm tired
It has been a busy weekend and I could have done with a lazy one
