Waiting for Mr MWC to finish watching 3 games of rugby at the same time (he's watching Scotland on his ipad and flicking between Ireland and England on the telly!!!)

  • A spendy day today - I don't want to add up the receipts... I did take a lot of last week's clothes back but replaced them with others, also have a few items on order :o

Mr MWC has bought me a beautiful stripey cashmere cardigan from JL, a shirt and a pair of shoes (early Christmas presents :D) otherwise I would have spent more than I did!

1 egg today. Miss F has had a bit of a relapse today so is back in the hospital wing (conservatory)

Mr MWC cooked a delicious dinner - slow-roasted shoulder of lamb with merguez spices, bubble & squeak and roast squash

Only 1 dad today (FIL) and he paid me for the replacement rug (£30)

  • I've had a truly rubbish day :(

Left home at 06:45 to drive to London for a 2-day conference... arrived at 09:10... 2 hours & 25 minutes to drive less than 50 miles

By mid-morning I realised that the conference was not what I thought it would be and was instead a complete waste of my time... I did a runner after lunch and I won't be going back tomorrow :D Luckily, the conference hadn't cost me (or work) anything :)

    And I have a stonking headache :(

There is some good news... it only took me an hour to drive home!

And Miss F is a bit brighter again this evening and 1 egg from Miss B today :)

Leftovers from the weekend for dinner

Today was a NSD (as was yesterday) and I'm trying to decide whether to take £68.28 in cash from TCB or £71.69 in Amazon vouchers

Is there something you'd be buying anyway from Amazon (Christmas presents maybe)? If not then cash and put it to good use instead of spending!
