No you do not need to do anything. Do not press start - thats for later if they do not reply.
As time passes the Issued will change to Acknowledged/Defended or if they do not respond at all after the 14 days you can start the judgement.Any spelling mistakes are entirely on purpose to check you're paying attention0 -

Thanks for your reply.
Do you if it's fourteen days from yesterday (when I submitted the claim) or fourteen days from today (when the status changed from received to issued)? I'm guessing it's from today but thought I'd check.
Thanks,

It will be 14 days from when the claim received by the bank, this is usually about 4 days after you submit the claim on MCOL, so that should be Monday.Any spelling mistakes are entirely on purpose to check you're paying attention0

We have 2 bank accounts - a business one with NatWest and a normal current account with the Co-op. Both of them have lonas on them which we're paying off, the biggest with NatWest. We're worried that if we go down this road the banks will foreclose on our loans and we'll have to pay the whole lot back. Any thoughts on this please?0

Hi Mrs Peppy, dont worry they cannot close your loan accounts as these are seperate credit agreements. Same goes with Mortgage accounts / ISA's etc.Any spelling mistakes are entirely on purpose to check you're paying attention0

Well, I took step one today anyway! I noticed a charge of £30 on my most recent statement which I'm going to claim back. Anyway, I sent off the letter with £10 to get a full list of charges. I'm strangely nervous and excited at the same time!Wannabee champagne girl...on a beer income.0

I have just put my letter and cheque in the envelope to send tomorrow and also feel quite apprehensive! I noticed I have paid £56 charges in the last few months and feel sure theres plenty more from the last 6 years!
My bank is Nat West by the way. I'll let you know how I get on.Lightbulb moment 30/10/06Debt at highest (30/10/06) £24 816Debt on 06/01/09 £2500Bank Charges Reclaimed from NatWest £14000 -
Since joining MSE, I have had a good laugh at the banks stating they accept no liability or they believe their charges are fair then offering 'goodwill' gestures.
I wonder how much money MSE's members have won back since Martin brought this to our attention?
Thanks Martin & team and of course the other forum members!£2 Coin Savers Club (Christmas)- £86£1 Jar (Christmas)- £29Christmas Vouchers Saved: £1450 -
Edinburghlass wrote:There is a template letter across at CAG specifically for credit cards and store cards. Do bear in mind though that its the credit card companies that have reduced the late payment charges down to £12 so I would assume they would deem this amount to be fair for recent late payments.
is the letter on CAG for credit cards the initial letter you send? or am i looking at the wrong letter?Fatcheese.co.uk - £1345.27 (Joined April 2009)

In the process of changing bank account from RBOS to Halifax (now thinking not the best idea I've had), anyway checked statement today to discover £150 bank charges. Got on phone straight away and queried this and told them what they were charging was unlawful. Was told they had paid five direct debits when there was insufficient funds in account to cover this. I explained that I wasn't kept up to date with process of switching account (which they say they will do) and that was why not enough money in account to cover payments and told them they were at fault and out of order for charging me. Person I spoke to said she would refund two charges, £60, but if I was charged in future I wouldn't be able to reclaim any charges. Said I wasn't happy with this, they were at fault, wanted full amount. Put me on hold while she spoke to her manager. Came back on phone to tell me charges would be refunded in full. Tomorrow will be writing to RBOS to claim all charges from past six years.0
