Coupon I think the daughter is the RK and they have written to her. So in light of that I still think the best option is to nip it in the bud and say that no contract exists as an under 18 year old cannot enter into one. Though offering the retailer landowner a full and final payment is debatable as that would be acceptance of the terms when IMO there is no need.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

The worst case scenario will be that it doesn't make the court because the judge will has torn the papers before setting a date.
The best case scenario is that a hearing be set, because you can be sure it will only go ahead for the purpose of damaging the claimant. Since their demand is wholly unforceable, they cannot possibly satisfy the court that they are seeking losses resulting from the alleged action. To that end it will be struck out and the they will be ordered to pay compensation to the defendant for wasting his time.0 -

That won't go far on shoes, handbags and tops.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -

Am I alone in thinking it strange that at 17 you are not considered mature and responsible enough to enter into a contract, but are allowed to drive several tonnes of machinery, the misuse of which regularly kill the driver, passengers or innocent third parties?0

The thing is like other things for example credit cards and loans etc that comes under a contract under 18s can't have them either, parking companies rely on contract law if you are under 18 no contract can exist. It's not really aimed at parking but at other aspects of life.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. You can stand wherever you wish, if you are the registered keeper you can still ignore them, they are as unenforceable as beforeExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?

Thank you taffy056. I've been quite worried! I presume I will be receiving some more threat from Parking Eye! I am the owner and was driving. But had no idea I was breaking a contract with Private Eye. I feel like a criminal!0
