    I've been Money Tipped!
Dare you admit it (as I am sure some members will frown upon them, I can't stand them personally but my husband likes the odd one) a Pot Noodle in your cupboard? Is it any wonder people find English difficult to learn when we spell cupboard like that! :D.

Anyway, you could make some Pot Noodle pancakes and fill those with cheese and beans/beans and rice etc.

I have never tried them but found the recipe in a library book last week.

The recipe was posted in an article online in April at http://www.thisiscornwall.co.uk/Foxy-ways-food-lead-invention-Pot-Noodle-pancake/story-15812359-detail/story.html

    Pot Noodle Pancakes

Remove the soy sauce sachet and blitz the dry pot remains in a blender until powdered.

Put in a bowl and add the soy, 200ml of milk and three eggs and whisk.

Then just cook them like ordinary pancakes – a ladleful at a time in a non-stick frying pan with a thin film of oil.

    Hi

Sorry to resurrect a very old thread. I just wanted to say thank you to all of the people who did reply - It must have slipped my mind that I even started it, as not long after I suffered a huge set back and things got a little more tight - I've only found it again after looking at old posts.

I will look at everyone's suggestions and use them to keep me going, even though I am now out of debt.

Just didn't want to seem ungrateful - which unfortunately people may think I am as I never thanked people back in 2012.

Thank you all and I hope this helps other people as well xxx

Nice of you to come back and say thanks. The OS threads can move fast sometimes so it can be difficult to keep up when real life intervenes.

Oh, and it was worth it, even just for the "Pot Noodle pancake" recipe above! (Not sure I dare to try it though...basically just reducing them to flour, I guess.)
