I think the people who post on here are some of the most kind and thoughful people around & definately restores your faith in humanity.
People offering help and food etc,I find it sad that the O.P has not had the courtesy to say thank you.
I'm sorry but they have asked for help before and never thanked the people who have replied.
I'm sorry but I felt I had to write this as I hate ingratitude in all forms.

I agree but op has gone on to write more posts and it seems her mum and dad are buying food for her so need for anyone else to waste their time offering their help and advice.:(

Im more of a lurker than a poster and have recently came back to the site after many months, I just noticed this post and although I have no advice to offer I thought I'd have a look through it to see some ideas, I'm amazed the person who started the thread hasn't even came and said thanks to anyone for the effort they've put in, some real offers of help and advice.

Although op seems to be sorted now I don't think this thread is a waste of time. I have gotten lots of brilliant ideas and recipes from this thread which is greatly appreciated. So thanks everyone, your efforts have not been wasted. :)

  • I too expected the OP to at least come back and say thankyou, even if they are now sorted.

    CC limits £26000

    Long term CC debt £0

Total low rate loan debt £3000

    Almost debt free feeling, priceless.

Ex money nightmare, learnt from my mistakes and never going back there again, in control of my finances for the first time in my adult life and it feels amazing.

  • If you have any euro coins lying around you could sell them at Thomas Cook who take 1 and 2 euro coins. Some bureau de change even take 50 cents. Might be a way to eek out your cash flow. Also someone has mentioned milk and more who have an introductory £10 new customer offer . Milk and more sell bread, cheese, eggs and other foodstuff not just milk. You could order just £10 of food and owe nothing or use it to survive till the end of the month as you enter your account details and settle up monthly. Good luck.

Aldi super six are invaluable for eking out your money as well.
This week everything is 39p, parsnips, new potatoes, 3 large onions, cucumber, carrots and sweetheart cabbage.
parsnips make a lovely soup and most of this veg can be frozen
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
