Is this a good deal?

I`ve seen this offer online. Its with talk mobile. you get a free sony Xperia U phone, 250mins, unlimited texts and 500mb data all for £10 a month. If someone is already on it. how good is it? At the moment im paying £10 a month on O2 and my phone isn`t a smartphone. only get unlimited texts and 300 mins of calls.

It's a good deal for this phone, but £50+24x£7.50 is slightly better IMO.
    Don't forget TCB /quidco £25.
  • Is this another sony Xperia U offer £50+24x£7.50?

    They use the Vodafone network.

If you want to keep your phone number when switching to Talk Mobile then you have to have your pac ready at the time of agreeing the contract. You can't port over your number at a later date

Told o2 about it and they said best they can do is 50 mins, unlimited texts and 100mb data all for 13.50 which is what is on their website. they did say because im a existing customer i`d get extra 200 mins. the only thing making me think about it is the fact i don`t know much about talk mobile. Heard good things and bad. same with the phone. Some say its got poor sound quality so you can`t hear when you get a text message or a call. need to know before i commit to a 2 year contract.

Have to say i had a right job finding Grumbler's deal but eventually found it.A really good spot. A tenner saved. Hope this works.

DO NOT use this link to buy through, clear your cookies and go through Quidco/TCB for the cashback.

PS i would personally tell O2 to shove their 'offer' where the sun don't shine.

PPS Nice to see the warning about having to port your number at the time of order on the basket page as well. I bet they have had many a disgruntled punter complain in the past lol.

PPPS lol. Easier way is to cut and paste Grumbler's link but get rid of the gap between mobiles and co.uk. Failing that, pick Sony then Xperia U in the drop down box and click on talkmobile for the network. The £50 deal is then at the bottom of the page as Grumbler stated.
