DO NOT use this link to buy through, clear your cookies and go through Quidco/TCB for the cashback.
PS i would personally tell O2 to shove their 'offer' where the sun don't shine.
PPS Nice to see the warning about having to port your number at the time of order on the basket page as well. I bet they have had many a disgruntled punter complain in the past lol.
PPPS lol. Easier way is to cut and paste Grumbler's link but get rid of the gap between mobiles and co.uk. Failing that, pick Sony then Xperia U in the drop down box and click on talkmobile for the network. The £50 deal is then at the bottom of the page as Grumbler stated.
So even though the its £49.99. you actually pay 25 because of the cashback. how long does it take to get the cashback from quidco though?0 -
3 months or so. But Grumbler's point is that over the course of the 24 month contract you are paying £10 less. But you have to pay £50 up front.0

Did a coverage test to see how well internet would run in my area. put my postcode in and this is what it said. Indoors and outdoors you can expect to have a reliable connection for email and the internet using a 3G phone, laptop or tablet. You can also expect good browsing and download speeds. It has 4 different coloured bars and mine was dark red which says high speed. don`t know what difference it makes though. said same for calls and texts as well.
for extended internet and email it said. Indoors and outdoors you can expect to have a reliable connection for email and the internet using a 3G 900 phone, laptop or tablet. You can also expect good browsing and download speeds.0 -
Has anyone taken up the sony xperia u offer on mobiles.co.uk? If so will you also be paying the insurance or not bother with it? I wouldn`t be able to afford that so if i take up the offer i`d not bother with it.0

I think the difference is very small between S and T. Both are much better than U.0 -
just read this from one review. SAR is a unit of radio-activity.Radio-activity of this model is so high that it may damage our brain and cause brain cancer too as scientists point out.it has one of the highest and probably the highest SAR values in mobile history. Is this true?0
