Thanks, but I have already emailed Vodafone and therefore have a complaint number. This link does not take me to the Vodafone rep's email but to Vodafone's general complaints email service I think... the form is identical. I think to have two complaints numbers will complicate this more than it is already.
I really just want the Vodafone rep to PM me so I can give her the identifying info.

Hi Loanranger,

I can appreciate your eagerness to get matters investigated and resolved.

If you'd like me to look into your concerns further could you either update the thread with your email reference number from our automated reply or email me with the relevant details via the link in our profile here?

All you need to do is copy and paste the link into your web browser and it will take you to the Contact us form on our website.

To ensure that it reaches us could you quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line and once our automated reply arrives could you update the thread with your email reference number?

In regard to PM's I'm afraid this function is disabled for company reps so we're unable to either receive or send them.

Kind regards,

Lee

I am the official company representative of Vodafone. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"

Vodafone have allowed my account to be hacked again! It beggars belief that twice in ten days a fraud has been committed on my account.
I now have to go through the charade of emailing texting and phoning them and the police all over again.
As for the message above from the Voda rep, the link they give above is EXACTLY same link as the usual contact us link on their website so this is just window dressing for this forum to fool us poor schmucks into believing that they give a damn.
If Vodafone really cared about customers they would :

1. have secure systems which don't allow thieves to hack your account and steal phones...especially not twice in ten days
2. would allow PMs from this forum so that complaints such mine get dealt with
Vodafone is extremely poor at customer service.

The link is the same, but the people dealing with your message will be different if you do what you was told to do. And this is important as 95% of Voda CS are incapable of doing anything besides giving customers runaround.

It's the rule set by MSE, not by the reps.

Congratulations. The sooner your realize this, the better for you.

Thats rather unfair

What Grumbler has told you are the facts, whilst you think they are "unhelpful" he was explaining what the situation is in order to make you realise the situation.

Yes the link is the same but putting " WRT135 - MSE" in the subject line means that one of the CS reps from here will get it and follow it up which is far better than leaving it to chance as to who deals with it.

It's not Vodafones fault that they are unable to use PM's it was removed from all companies not just Vodafone by MSE.

If you want to get somewhere with the situation you need to follow advice given on here rather than being rude to fellow members trying to help you ;)

I can assure you that if you follow Lee's instructions, you will get this dealt with properly. Lee has helped me out before and done so a lot better and professionally than just ending up with anyone.

However, as grumbler has already correctly stated, you need to follow the exact instructions and that WRT 135 - MSE in the subject line is what makes all the difference. Either that or update this thread with your reference number as Lee has asked. Did you put the WRT 135 in the subject line when you were first advised to on the 11th?

Also agree with Silk - your comments towards grumbler were unfair.

Hi Loanranger,

Thanks for coming back to me.

As you've experienced difficulties with the Contact us form could you email me with a contact number only at
eforum.web@help.vodafone.co.uk and again quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line? Please note that there is no space between the T and the 1.

Once our automated reply has arrived could you update the thread with your email reference number and I'll get back to you as soon as I can?

I appreciate that you would prefer to send us a PM but as has been advised already this facility isn't available to us as per the forum's rules.

Kind regards,

Lee
