BNP are lefties; I assume you have read their ideas about power to unions?
And you only work 30 hours a week!! I work that in 3 days.RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

It's called National Socialism for a reason.0 -
When my husband and I were working, our salaries came monthly at the beginning of the month and out of them we had to pay all our bills, run our car and pay our mortgage whilst making sure that the money lasted the entire month.
So what is wrong with people on benefits having to do the same? It's called budgeting!(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
I'm giving up with you lot. I'm surprised you find time to spend on here if you're all so busy working. You can't budget for a month when your income drops 40% and your expenses increase 40%. Unless you expect people to live on bread and water and live in a tent. I seriously hope none of you ever find yourselves unable to work, but if you do you might change your minds. ANYONE can have an accident and become disabled, why should these poor people have to spend the rest of their lives in poverty while Cameron and his cronies live in multi million pound mansions?0

Since when has Tesco been paying a good rate per hour?
A few years ago I used to work for Sainsburys as a Deputy Departmental Manager (Produce & Fresh Foods) all for 50p an hour more than the NMW!
I was contracted for 30 hours a week and regularly ended up with it being somewhere between 35 and 40 hours a week especially when you include the admin and legal compliance work. But I was only paid for 30 hours!
Holidays were dictated when you could have them at the start of the year - you had no choice, not even the month.
On top of that I then had to wash and iron all of my own work clothes in my time at my cost.
I was offered full manager training many times and refused it many times - I just wouldn't have had any home life!
Then when they started to change the bonus targets to an ever increasing figure intending you to work harder and longer for no extra income I walked!
Tesco pay more than Sainsburys
I earn £7.59 per hour basic pay as a lowly GA.
£11.39 for any hours worked on Sunday
and approaching £10 an hour for my night shift hours.
Most Tesco's are now open 24 hours so there are overtime shifts available 24/7 so lots of opportunity to work around someone elses varying shifts.
My rate of pay includes location pay but the minimum rate paid at Tesco is now £7 an hour. A bonus in one form or other is also paid each year of about 3.6% of your salary and you get 10% staff discount.
The OP would definitely be doing better for herself by working in Tesco even though it doesn't sound as impressive as saying you have your own business.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -
Oh come on, why let the facts get in the way of a good, old, bigoted rant?
Because halfwits like MM cannot be allowed to continue to perpetuate the lies and and misinformation printed by the right wing tory press without being brought to book.
Is it not pertinent that she did not attempt to defend the lies she printed.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
