I would highly reccomend this '3' deal which can be found on their website:

For £17.50 per month you get:

    - 750 mins
    - 150 texts
    - 50 picture messeges
    - £5 to spend on videos, audio tracks, wallpapers, tv etc etc....

If you go through Quidco you get £100 cashback....I just got mine last week!!!

In effect the deal is actually £10ish per month....18month contract though but I think it's well worth it.

Oh nearly forgot, you also get a phone, so, if you sell that the contracts less than £9 per month.

They do have great deals but their network coverage is utter crap, in my opinion!

That is very good but how do you find the Virgin network coverage?

    Try http://www.virginmobile.com/vm/ukCoverage.do?contentId=coverage.in.uk.howdoi.sm235

    or

    T-Mobile Street Check

as Virgin use the T-Mobile network.

I know...£35 a month is a huuuuuuuuge amount! As students, we need all the extra money we can get!
  • Back in the 'old days' (graduated 2001) I had an Orange Everyday 50 contract - the best contract i've ever had. £15 a month, 50 mins of calls a night - amazing value for heavy users.
