The wording of a disciplinary letter..??

So the answer seems to be "zero notice" then.
What is it they're required to give you notice for then? Just redundancy?0 -
If they find it's gross misconduct you can be chopped off pronto - however you will still be due to be paid for work you've already done plus accrued holiday.0

Anyway, moving on from this, i need to prepare myself for the actual hearing itself & what i'm set to face. I can think of a few questions:
* why did you do it
* we thought you would've learned
* why did you think it was acceptable
* what did you mean by it
Can you think of anything beyond this? As i can't.0 -
Right, bit of an update.
All i can say is thanks to those who helped.
Whatever to those who just wanted to stir it & cause aggro.
I'm glad my employers are nothing like DENLA, as they went easy on me. I still have a job.
Time to keep the head down & the mouth shut. Lesson well & truly learned.0 -

You got a final written warning though?0 -

Well yes, i know you were itching for me to get sacked & i didn't, so i'm sure it'll be of some consolation to you that i did receive a FWW, so i'm sure you'll be quite happy now.
End of the day, i'm going to be super squeaky clean now. I'm taking zero chances. Saying nothing out of turn, everything i do will be to the book. Can't afford to do it any other way.
Out of interest, i thought the other day (& this is aimed at anyone other than denla really as i know he/she seems to have some agenda replying to me)...
...what if a co-worker was to "set up" another co-worker? Either 1) FRAPE their facebook account or 2) create a bogus account & post offensive messages?
It's just a "what if" scenario, but it made me wonder - the employer would know no different & the individual would have no way of proving either way.0 -
You can protect yourself against this. Close the account! (You could set up another, under another name, COMPLETELY separate from work).
And tell your employer you have closed the account. It might help them to realise you are determined to start afresh.Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0
