Pleased sticking the link up there helped you kirri :)

Worst customer service I've had has to be Farmaround. Taking the order, charging my card, not delivering, not answering my calls and then giving me a load of manure :(

My outstanding customer service award goes to Ocado, for even delivering on time in snow so bad OH couldn't get to work. :T

I think it does matter a lot when things go wrong, for a company to own up to it and do everything they can to fix it. It must be demoralising to work for a company which you know won't do that for its customers.
  • Hi everyone.

My local Sainsburys have stopped selling some of their organic lines which I have suspected would happen for awhile now.

I had a first stage interview last week, involved alot of travelling on trains etc but good news is I passed. As I couldn't make it back in the next day they say they will be in touch in the New Year when more second stage slots should be avaliable.

I did buy that Respect Organics carrot cake that Edwardia has mentioned before. I know I should be keeping off the cakes but I bought it anyway lol.

I hope everyone is looking forward to Christmas.

On another note I popped into Sainsburys on Wedsnesday and noticed some suits with badges so took the opportunity to ask why organic items were dissappearing from their shelves such as pasta and long grain rice and why some things were so hard to find like organic pork. It turned out I was speaking to Diane Carter, zone managing director for the east. (I asked her position out of curiosity) learning who she was I seized the moment and asked why Sainsburys were reducing the number of organic items and expressed my concerns at the lack of availability and choice etc.I explained my concerns about gm and trying to avoid it. Although unable to give answers there and then she instructed a member of staff to call me and let me know what had happened to the missing organic lines. No call as yet but will let you know if I hear.

Just spotted your post, I have had a similar experience at my Sainsburys so if they turn round and say they have not reduced organic lines it isn't you imagining it, I have noticed it as well.

It is good cake bornintoit ;) Crossing fingers on interview xx

I use two almost identical edge of town Sainsbury's regularly,(one in my town one near my mother) and OH uses the Sainsbury's in our town centre which is much smaller but not a local.

So if you tell me what's missing we'll consult and see whether we have seen it or not.

MIA: plums, cherry tomatoes, strawberries, Sainsbury's SO organic mayo and French Dressing, watercress, watercress spinach and rocket salad. Peppers sometimes seem to go out of stock for quite awhile ditto leeks (sheer popularity?). Can't remember seeing SO organic mixed herbs in ages either.

Argh I skipped the wrong milk so instead of 3 x 2 litres whole milk from Abel & Cole I got just 5 x 0.5 litre whole milks

Gonna have to go join the Christmas crush now eek

Shouldn't laugh, but a friend made the same mistake on an xmas order and got mini bottles of wine instead of full size, I found it quite amusing!

I need to go and get some presents but blowing a gale here already so will leave it until tomorrow..

I'm already missing the fact I can't get my veg delivered at the end of the week...

Hope everyone having a good Christmas. I'm surprised that my spelling is this good after most of the Taittinger.

My mother went home early with a doggy bag for the badgers and 3/4 of a Fortnum & Mason organic Xmas pud for herself.

OH tried the M&S gluten free mince pies and verdict was " not bad ". He said the Abel & Cole organic gluten free ones were " even better " and that we could prise the Abel & Cole custard out of his " cold dead fingers ".. guess that means it was a hit.
  • Merry Christmas to you Edwardia, Kirri and everyone else.

I didn't want to come on here today as I thought it's Christmas Day I really shouldn't be on here but I am trying to put together a very frustrating toy so needed a break.
