bornintoit - in much the same position, is hard to stay motivated when employers have so much almost hatred to anyone with a gap on the cv, they seem to think people have lost any ability, experience or intelligence they had! Saw a job ad with spelling mistakes in this morning too, that always bugs me!
Thank you to everybody who has replied to my post. I don't make it on here as much as I used to but I do read every single post and your positive thoughts are very much appreciated.
Kirri, that is something that does irritate me also. A job advert that states attention to detail and detail is spelt wrong.
I have to do a food shop. I have a voucher for 50p off organic apples at Tesco but I'm not sure I want to do a full shop there so may nip in there sometime next week to check out the price of the apples.'Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves'0 -

Good Ocado are expanding organic but hope they don't drop the Waitrose organic items..
Ocado order this week, got a 99p delivery slot on min £40 spend, free mini bottle of Baileys (from the code on the blog) and £7.51 of savings. Apart from veg, that will do me for 2 weeks. They have some good Ecover offers at the mo. Didn't really like the Biona tinned sweetcorn, bit tough - reminded me of sweetcorn that is harvested a bit late. I got some more of the nut cutlets just because they are so convenient to stick in the freezer (and fairly cheap).
Disappointed I won't get an A&C delivery the week inbetween xmas/NY - will either have to order veg from Ocado as they often have zero price delivery slots then or go to a shop  might use it as another excuse to go to Wholefoods though! The Cavolo Nero wasn't the freshest from A&C either this week but it was really good last week.
Have supplemented the shopping with home grown root veg this week still. Will have enough root veg to last till Xmas albeit it's SO muddy.
Wasn't so keen on the A&C clementines this week, the ones from Waitrose and Wholefoods were sweeter although think even the WF ones were not org. Wholefoods were 50p a kilo cheaper than Waitrose however and they had leaves on. Also tried the Wholefoods Antipasti bar this time, £1.99 per 100g I think it was and big selection.0 -

I really like the Riverford bag and at least it's a reasonable price unlike the other one!
I have one of these cotton bags rolled up in my handbag in case I ever get caught out in a non bag giving shop, they are really good and I've stuck mine through the washing machine a few times too. Mine was a freebie from Anchor though:o:o

Cafedirect Fairtrade ground coffee - full roast original, Machu Picchu and Kilimanjaro Tanzania 227g on offer at Lidl for a mere 2.49 from 12/12. Can't read the writing on the images of the pics (too small) so not sure if organic. Cafediirect certainly has organic in the range though. https://www.cafedirect.co.uk
Another Whole Foods fan.. here's a photo of Tom Daley with carrier bags, after stopping off at the store en route to his hotel in Houston TX (he's there for a UK diving team training camp).

Former British diver turned actor Jason Statham is a regular shopper at Bristol Farms and Whole Foods Markets in W Hollywood and has been snapped with Victoria's Secret and M&S Xmas ad model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in both stores this month. Not only is Jason Statham a former diver and a Whole Foods shopper like Tom, there's a 19 yr age gap between him and Rosie too.
The burning question in my mind is would Kirri stop off at Whole Foods before she got to the hotel ??0 -
Dan Martin, the pro cyclist, tweeted that he was in WF London the other week, albeit he bumped into someone in the toilet, so not sure if shopping there or just visiting the conveniences?!0

I am going to get to WF in Glasshouse St so I can nip in F&M as well
Wonder if either of them will have NY food sales ?

^ WF often put daily, short term offers on their fb page - when they reduce they often take 50% off in flash sales. Let us know how you get on there if you go!
Just had an offer from 9bar via email, says code ok to share - not sure how this compares with supermarket reductions but I've ordered one as I fancied trying the other flavours - the 6 pack sampler box, usually £4.20 is only £3 (and it's free delivery) with the code '6PACK£3'

I think that makes them 50p each Kirri which would be good. Not sure that's better than ASDA's 60p each for bigger bar tho.0
