bornintoit if you're low carbing weight will fall off til you get to your natural weight but if you feel it's happening too fast add some slow release grains or veg back in which would also help with digestive issues.

When I started I did 100g carbs a day for months then 50g carbs because of my diabetes then as few as poss so mine are mostly from fruit.

If you're just wanting to lose weight I'd work out how much carbohydrate you've been eating and cut 50% which averagely would mean eating max 150g carbs per day to start. The important thing is to keep the fruit and veg IN and exclude the processed carbs.

Some people get what is called carb flu for a week or so, others get carb cravings for same time, others nothing at all. I think it's reasonable to expect body to go through some adjustment though.

Hope that helps ! Ultimately we would all be more healthy shopping the edges of the supermarket and cutting out as much processed food as poss.

Kirri, whats your secret?!? You seem to win lots you lucky thing. I NEVER win squat!!!

It is mostly a numbers game and I don't enter a fraction of what most people seem to but if you enter quite a few there seems a fairly good chance of getting something back, probably not worth it unless you're mega skint or have a lot of spare time though as you would need to enter a lot! There's not that many organic comps and these are still all entered by people who mostly probably have no real interest in these products but just want to win so there is still a lot of competition to get them but I've been lucky to get 4 organic wins in the last month (as well as the bread, I got the beauty box, tea and vitamins).

Ocado's new offers started today but not very exciting - there's a couple of hundred veggie organic offers, less than half of what there was last month I think. Some of the offers have been rehashed with new end dates. Can't see my fave Rude Health org crispy muesli either :( I got a free box of the Rude Health non org granola though the other week (when Ocado gave away the free £27 of food) and that is nice enough to keep me going though goes soggier than the muesli in yoghurt.).

Farmaround have messed up my order yet again.

I don't know if it has been mentioned on this thread but the Waitrose organic peanuts butter is nice at £1.99 a pot but it does contain palm oil.

I think I have already mentioned it once before, sorry!

Eggs: I buy organic free range from the Neal's yard in tone from their farm. Six large ones for £1.80 bargain!

I've been annoyed because Waitrose have stopped selling their love life organic muesli which was a great price.

Hi Edwardia and all, long time no see. :hello:

At last my local Waitrose has organic curly kale. I bought three packs which I'll blanch then freeze into handy portions. They didn't have mys usual organic frozen spinach though. They also had my beloved cavolo nero but that wasn't organic, and I WON'T eat non-organic leaf vegs.

Still, Waitrose is always my first port of call for organic stuff, then there is Wholefoods in Kensington and a great health food shop just outside Kew Gardens Station, whose name now escapes me.

Totally agree about Waitrose it's where we do our main food shop.
Have they stopped selling frozen organic super sweet sweetcorn at your branch? Our branch hasn't had it for weeks :(

    Hi GemDoll

No idea as I don't buy sweetcorn. My local WR is West Ealing, with second being the Westfield Centre in Shepherds Bush but that branch is not very big.

That's the one! I can't go tomorrow night anyway. :(

I forgot, there is also As Nature Intended just next to Ealing Broadway Centre. They do good things too and I always make sure to pop in when I'm in the area. That's where I used to buy kefir before I managed to secure some grains to make my own.
