How do you get a FREE BT Internet email address?

I used to have BT dial up, I have had my btinternet email address from then, when I upgraded to BB with BT I got to keep my email address. I can't understand why he has to keep both?

As far as I know it is beause his broadband is not with BT. HTH!

I got it sorted. Dads account was downgraded to a PAYG account on Tuesday 10th April 2007.

I think you can if you log on to the webmail service rather than trying to from email software.

I had a BT dial up account about three years ago and still use the same E Mail address even though I have a new ISP.

At one time they would send a reminder if I hadn't dialled up for a long time so I would dial up for a few minutes and that was that.

However, I can't remember the last time I dialed up (at least six months ago) and all seemsd to be working fine.

Not that this is relevent as it looks like Jo4 has got it sorted anyway
