When did i say you personally had complained about the G300. I believe it was smithers who stated he'd be glad when they stopped making the G300 as it's highly recommended on this forum.
To quote your original post BertThinking of getting a HTC Desire they are going for around £60-£70 second hand, my question is what are they like to live with, I only need it for calls/text/camera/gps and occasional internet browsing.
So is it worth buying or is there an alternative?
You've been given advice and an alternative that you asked for.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
My Desire is 22 months old, it still got its original battery and going strong.
It actually runs Jelly Bean as I rooted it. Storage space isn't a problem as you can fool the phone when rooted to use the SD Card memory, so with a 8GB memory card space isn't a problem. For such an old model, it does well against phones today.
Rooting a Desire is actually pretty easy now, if you want to do this to get the latest software or solve the internal memory problems send me a PM and I direct you to the places for the tools.0
